I’ve had a long journey in business and tech: co-founded and sold a wireless company to Qualcomm; managed a ninja operations team at Apple responsible for a $2B/year budget; personally acquired a distressed E-Comm business, turned it around and sold it in 4 years. After the last acquisition, I had the chance to help a couple of SMBs as a fractional COO that were stuck with growth as well as their teams were burnt out. Within a few months of retooling their businesses, they grew 30-40% and there was life back in the teams. Eventually, I had more engagements than I could handle myself, so started a fractional COO firm named ScaleUpExec which is composed of the top COOs I’ve come across after meeting hundreds of them through the years.
Now after turning around 20+ businesses, I have deep practical experience in leadership, entrepreneurship, and how to make business management effective and enjoyable. I’m happy to share what I’ve learned in case it may be of benefit to others.
