After a brief stint in the Army, he worked in the corporate world for a little over a decade before acquiring his first business in 2008. That first acquisition was a hair salon/spa that he helped grow from less than $4 million in revenues to over $7 million in ten years through opening a second location and acquiring a small manufacturing company in their supply chain. During those ten years, he was also part of a startup team that launched a Jamba Juice franchisee in St Louis, as well as a couple of other startups that didn't succeed. After exiting the salon/spa business in a divorce, Jeff joined another partner and acquired a precision machine shop doing business with NASA, SpaceX and all the major defense contractors. He exited that business after 18 months and has been coaching business owners and aspiring acquisition entrepreneurs since January 2021.
